Amendment in three services of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department under Right to Service Act

Chandigarh, February 9:- Haryana Government has amended the notification dated December 31, 2021 of the Administrative Reforms Department under the Haryana Right to Service Act, 2014. With an aim to make the services of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department more effective, transparent and time-bound, three services notified earlier have been amended and two new services have been added.

**A notification in this regard has been issued by Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Rastogi.
Now the service related to conservation and development of indigenous livestock (desi cow) and Murrah Vikas Yojana will be provided within 180 days. In addition, a time limit of 100 days has been fixed for the scheme for establishment of high-tech dairy units and for providing employment to beneficiaries of Scheduled Castes through establishment of livestock units.
Two new services have been added after number 4 in the notification. In these, a time limit of 100 days has been fixed for the general scheme for providing employment through establishment of pig, sheep and goat units and a time limit of 60 days has been fixed for the scheme for establishment of backyard poultry units. All the services will be subject to the availability of the targets.
For these services, the Sub-Divisional Officer, Animal Husbandry and Dairy of the concerned districts has been made the Designated Officer. Meanwhile, the Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry and Dairy/Intensive Livestock Development Project has been appointed as the First Grievance Redressal Officer and at the Directorate level, the Credit Planning Officer/Joint Director has been appointed as the Appellate Authority.
