Chandigarh, December 19:- Haryana Transport Minister Mr. Anil Vij said that along with automatic ticketing system in state transport buses, tracking system and app for non-bus information are also being developed so that passengers can travel smoothly and get accurate information. He said that all buses plying on Fatehabad-Hisar local route stop at bus stops of Bhoda-Hosnak and Kharakheri villages and make 66 trips daily.
Mr. Vij was replying to a question raised during the ongoing winter session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha here in Chandigarh today. He said that an automatic ticketing system has been installed in the buses and this system is being further advanced, so that now passengers can buy tickets with Paytm/card etc. and a complete record can also be kept.
The Transport Minister said that orders have been given to install a tracking system for the departure of buses at the bus stands, much of which has been completed.
An app has also been developed regarding bus information. Through this app, anyone can see how far away my bus is.
