Chandigarh, June 1:- The Haryana government has taken a big step towards strengthening the health infrastructure in rural areas and providing better medical facilities to the common people. The Chief Minister of the state, Mr. Naib Singh Saini, has given administrative approval to open new health centers in three different districts of the state. Under this decision, rural areas of Gurugram, Bhiwani and Hisar districts have been included, due to which the local population will be able to directly get the benefit of modern medical services.
According to this decision of the government, a new sub-health center will be opened in village Ghamdoj of Gurugram district, while one new community health center each will be established in village Dhanana of Bhiwani district and village Sisai Bola of Hisar district. With the establishment of these centers, the dependence of dozens of nearby villages on hospitals of big cities will be reduced.
Giving detailed information about this, Haryana Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, the state government is continuously expanding health facilities in rural areas. He said that the main objective of the government is to ensure that the people of rural areas do not have to travel far and wide for treatment of minor and major diseases or in case of emergency, but they can get the best health services near their homes.
The Health Minister further added that the opening of these new community and sub-health centers will ensure the availability of free medicines, tests and doctors at the local level. The government's goal in the coming days is to further strengthen the rural infrastructure so that the concept of 'Swasth Haryana' can be taken to the ground level.
