Hoshiarpur:- In compliance with the directions of the Election Commission of India, the monthly inspection for November 2025 of the EVM warehouse established at the district level was carried out today without opening the strong room by Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-Additional District Election Officer Amarbir Kaur Bhullar. Representatives of various political parties were also present on this occasion.
During the inspection process, all related records, log books, and entry registers were thoroughly checked to ensure complete transparency.
Additional District Election Officer Amarbir Kaur Bhullar stated that the monthly inspection of the EVM warehouse is a regular and essential procedure. Its purpose is to maintain the impartiality, security, and transparency of the electoral process. She expressed satisfaction that the warehouse arrangements in the district were found to be of the highest standard.
Representatives of political parties remarked that this initiative of the Election Commission strengthens public faith in the democratic process and helps dispel baseless doubts being spread regarding the impartiality of the machines.
Present on the occasion were Rajneesh Tandon (Indian National Congress), Bhushan Kumar Sharma (BJP), Balwinder Singh (CPI-M), along with EVM Nodal Officer Balwinder Singh, Election Tehsildar Harminder Singh, Election Kanungo Deepak Kumar, and Lakhvir Singh.
