SAS Nagar, June 28:- To further strengthen the ongoing distribution and collection of Enumeration Forms under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 being conducted as per the directions of the Election Commission of India, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General)-cum-Additional Deputy Election Officer, Ms. Geetika Singh, visited various polling booths across Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar district today.
During her visit, she interacted with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and encouraged them to ensure maximum coverage by reaching every eligible elector and facilitating the timely filling and submission of Enumeration Forms. She also appealed to the general public to cooperate with the exercise by filling up their Enumeration Forms and submitting them to their respective BLOs within the stipulated timeframe to ensure an accurate and comprehensive electoral roll.
Ms. Geetika Singh inspected Booth Nos. 242 and 255 in Sector 70, Booth Nos. 133, 232, 233, 234 and 235 in the Mataur area, and polling booths in Sectors 78 and 79. She reviewed the progress of the ongoing work and urged the BLOs to discharge their duties with dedication, responsibility and sincerity. She stressed that no eligible voter should be left out of the enumeration process and that all Enumeration Forms should be completed and collected within the prescribed timeline.
District Nodal Officer (SVEEP), Prof. Gurbakshish Singh Antal, personally assisted voters in filling out their Enumeration Forms and created awareness about the importance of the Special Intensive Revision process.
Election Kanungo Varun Kumar and Jagtar Singh were also present during the visit.
