Dhuri, May 20:- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has significantly stepped up its campaign for the upcoming Municipal Council elections in Dhuri, with party leaders actively engaging voters through public meetings and extensive door-to-door outreach across various wards.
In a major show of strength, OSD Sukhveer Singh addressed a large public gathering in Ward No. 14 in support of party candidate Sandeep Bansal. The enthusiastic participation of residents saw the meeting transform into a massive rally, reflecting the growing support for AAP in the region.
Addressing the gathering, Sukhveer Singh highlighted that the Punjab Government has initiated development projects worth crores in Dhuri. He noted that key infrastructure initiatives, including the construction of a new hospital, establishment of a modern library, and ongoing city beautification works, are progressing at a rapid pace.
He emphasized that these initiatives are a result of the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, aimed at transforming Dhuri into a modern and well-equipped urban center. He further stated that the overwhelming public response is a clear indication that people have placed their trust in the government’s development-driven agenda.
Despite the intense summer heat, a large number of residents attended the rally, which Sukhveer Singh described as a strong testament to the public’s faith in the government’s work. “This support is the real strength and achievement of our government,” he added.
On the occasion, Happy Garg joined the Aam Aadmi Party along with his supporters. Welcoming him into the party fold, Sukhveer Singh said that the increasing number of people joining AAP reflects a growing preference for transparent and development-oriented governance.
Appealing to voters, he urged residents of Dhuri to ensure a decisive victory for AAP candidates in the Municipal Council elections, so that the ongoing development momentum can be further accelerated.
A large number of party leaders, workers, and local residents were present at the event, expressing strong support for the party and its candidates.
