Hoshiarpur:- As per the directions of his superiors, under the war against drugs campaign of the Punjab government, ASI Manna Singh, in-charge of the police post, went to various places in the town to create awareness about staying away from drugs with the help of his police party and prominent people of the area. ASI Manna Singh said that under the above-mentioned scheme of the government, a rally was taken out in the town to create awareness about staying away from drugs, in which school students holding placards with various slogans in their hands went to shopkeepers in the market and other public places to create awareness.
He said that our youth was wasting their youth by getting involved in drugs. The government has started a campaign against drugs to save the youth from drugs and for their bright future, which has been going on for about 9 months now and this campaign is becoming very successful. Many children have given up drugs and started doing their own jobs and are also thanking the government.
Those who were trapped in drugs due to some compulsion, trouble or bad society, are now free from drugs and living a good life with the efforts of the police and their parents and their parents are also very happy. On this occasion, the employees of their police party were also present.
