Hoshiarpur: A special meeting was held at Jai Krishna Singh Roudi's office, attended by block-level office-bearers of the wing, prominent farmer leaders from the area, village-level representatives, and a large number of farmers. The meeting was led by the Kisan Wing President. Kamaljit Singh Jassowal, who welcomed everyone and informed them about the efforts being made for the welfare of farmers, was the moderator.
During the meeting, agricultural issues such as crop pests, seasonal changes, rising pesticide prices, and fertilizer shortages were discussed. Deputy Speaker Jai Krishna Singh Roudi listened to the farmers' concerns attentively and assured them that each problem would be addressed promptly by escalating it to the relevant department.
Information was also shared at the meeting about new agricultural technology developments, water-saving systems, improved seed varieties, organic farming, and new farm-to-market schemes. The Kisan Wing also decided to organize information camps in every village to connect farmers with new schemes so that no farmer is deprived of government benefits. It was also decided that new young members would be added at the village and block levels to organize farmers, further strengthening the agricultural front.
Finally, the wing's key officials thanked all members and said that farmers are the creators of the future, and their progress is the progress of the state and the country. They appealed to all farmers to unite and fight for their rights and strengthen agriculture.
On this occasion, organization in-charge Charanjit Singh Channi, Market Committee Chairman Baldeep Saini, Sukhvir Singh Nazarpur, Arvinder Singh Golia, Baljinder Singh Gujrapur, Kishan Singh Garhshankar, Jaspal Singh Palri, Dayal Singh Nangal Kalan, Gurinder Singh Nangal Kalan, Manjit Singh Imma Jatt, and other farmer leaders and party workers were present.
