Patiala 25 October: Today, here in Patiala, a meeting of 6 organizations included in the PRTC Workers Action Committee was held under the convenorship of the Action Committee Convener Mr. Nirmal Singh Dhaliwal in protest against the very serious incident of murderous attack on PRTC Patiala employee Manjinder Kumar Babbu Sharma and his family members and Kamal Kumar, his sons and 10-15 other persons, residents of village Bahman Majra, police station Ghagga, entering Babbu Sharma's house, killing six members and destroying property and taking away gold and cash.
In which apart from Nirmal Singh Dhaliwal, the members of the Action Committee Sarv Sri Baldev Raj Batta, Tarsem Singh, Naseeb Chand, Utam Singh Bagri, Gurdhyan Singh and Janpal Singh were included. The Action Committee took serious notice of this incident and condemned the police of Ghagga police station and said that the police took this murderous attack, that too by breaking into Babbu Sharma's house, very lightly under any kind of pressure and did not take any appropriate action.
The Action Committee has demanded that in addition to injuries, the section of breaking into the house and causing injuries and the section of attempt to murder should be filed against the accused and arrested. If this is not done, then strict action will be taken by the PRTC workers.
