Chandigarh, February 8:- Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini announced that a job will be given to a member of the family of the martyred inspector, financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh each to the injured and the injured will be treated in a good hospital and the expenses will be paid by the government. The Chief Minister expressed grief over the tragic accident that occurred due to the breaking of a swing at the Surajkund International Handicraft Fair in Faridabad.
The Chief Minister said that the accident that took place at the Surajkund Fair is very painful. Expressing his condolences to the policeman Inspector Jagdish Prasad who was martyred in the accident, he said that the state government stands firmly with the family of the martyr in this difficult time. Martyred Inspector Jagdish Prasad was posted at Chandhat police station in Palwal. The Chief Minister assured that all possible assistance would be provided to the family of the martyred policeman.
Out of the 8 injured admitted to the Supreme Hospital, 4 patients have been discharged after treatment, while the remaining 4 are undergoing treatment and a team of doctors is monitoring them. Apart from this, 4 injured admitted to BK Civil Hospital have also been discharged after treatment. The Chief Minister directed the concerned officials to ensure that such an incident does not happen again.
