Santoshgarh/Una, February 27 (Suresh Basan): A financial and digital literacy awareness camp was organized on Friday in Chhatarpur Dadha village of Una division. The camp was organized by the Kangra Central Cooperative Bank Committee branch, Ajouli, under the sponsorship of NABARD.
Women and men from the village participated enthusiastically and received detailed information about various banking schemes. During the program, Branch Manager Ram Kumar Kalia explained the bank's various loan schemes, such as Kisan Credit Cards, Self-Help Group loans, home loans, education loans, vehicle loans, and crop insurance.
He also highlighted the Social Security Pension, Atal Insurance Scheme, and other savings schemes. He also provided information on the use of digital banking, online transaction facilities, and important aspects of cybersecurity.
The branch manager advised the villagers present to be cautious of fraud calls and not to share confidential information like their bank account, ATM card or OTP with any unknown person.
Paramjeet, Pravesh, Raj Kumar, Narinder Pal, Sanjeev Kumar, Rajiv and Deepak along with other dignitaries were present in the camp.
