Ratia, November 22: A Chetna Sammelan dedicated to the 24th martyrdom day of Martyr Devinder Singh was organized at the Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School, Ladhuwas, under the chairmanship of Principal Harvinder Kumar. On this occasion, the school staff and students paid tribute by offering flowers before the martyr's photograph.
Presenting the martyr's biography, Neha, a Class 12 student, explained that he had killed two terrorists in the Kupwara region on November 19, 2001, and attained martyrdom. On the 24th day of his martyrdom, we are remembering him at the Chetna Sammelan. Principal Harvinder Kumar, while addressing the gathering, said that we cannot forget the sacrifices of the martyrs.
On this occasion, the children raised awareness by raising slogans given by the Martyr Devinder Singh Memorial Trust: Drive Away Drugs, Save Society, Save Environment, Save Life.
