Patiala:- Civil Defense, Disaster Management First Aid Fire Safety Training for Patiala Youth From February 5, the Government of India and Punjab has organized a 7-day training program for youth above 18 years of age to prepare civil defense volunteers to help save the lives of victims of natural, climatic and man-made disasters and wars in the future. Under the "Scheme for Training & Capacity Building of Civil Defense", Punjab Home Guards and Civil Defense, Patiala is conducting a 7-day training program from 05.02.2026 to 12.02.26 (with a break in between) at Kala Bhawan, Punjabi University, Patiala.
It is mandatory for every youth and citizen to prepare as a civil defense volunteer. Each volunteer who receives the training will be provided with a track suit, T-shirt, CD jacket, CD cap, identity card and certificate as per the instructions of the government. The training will start on 05.02.2026 at 10.00 am.
By receiving this training, students, teachers, employees and citizens should come forward to create a safe, healthy, prosperous, developed society and make their valuable contribution in saving the lives of the injured by becoming helpful friends of the victims.
