Patiala, April 30 - The police of Pasiana police station have arrested 5 people who were intoxicating while sitting in a car in Jahlan village on Sangrur road. During checking, 10 grams of chitta was also recovered from the vehicle. After the recovery, an FIR has been registered against these persons under the NDPS Act.
  The car (PB 10 EB 8538) of these accused has also been seized. These accused include Gobind Singh, Vishal village Jahlan, village Nihalgarh Sangrur, Sahilpreet Singh resident of village Gandua Sangrur, Amandeep Singh Abrol Model Town Amargarh and Sukhwinder Singh Jahlan. On checking Vishal's past records, more than 10 cases of drug trafficking and robbery were found against him.
Pasiana police station SHO Alambir Sidhu said that during the police remand, it will be revealed from which person these persons bought the chitta. It is suspected that apart from consuming drugs themselves, these people also sell drugs to people.
