Chandigarh, May 12:- The 19th meeting of Haryana Enterprise Promotion Board was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini in Chandigarh late on Monday evening. In the meeting, important decisions were taken regarding special incentive packages and other reliefs to various industrial units with the aim of increasing industrial investment, manufacturing capacity and employment opportunities in the state. The various projects approved in the meeting are likely to generate large-scale investment in the state as well as new employment opportunities for the local youth.
The special incentive packages for the projects were approved by HEPB based on the recommendations of the Executive Empowered Committee chaired by the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister. Industries and Commerce Minister Shri Rao Narbir Singh was also present in the meeting.
The meeting approved a special incentive package of Rs 43.05 crore to BEUMER India Private Limited under the Haryana Enterprise and Employment Policy-2020. The company will set up a state-of-the-art intralogistics system manufacturing facility in Jhajjar district, which will create employment opportunities for 138 youth of Haryana along with modern industrial infrastructure.
Similarly, AITMC Ventures Limited was approved a special incentive package of Rs 58.51 crore under the Haryana Enterprise and Employment Policy-2020. The company will set up a drone and drone components manufacturing hub in Hisar district, which will give a boost to the defence and aerospace manufacturing sector and create employment opportunities for 800 youth of Haryana.
The meeting approved a special incentive package of Rs 31.68 crore to Abhiyudaya Print Industries Private Limited under Haryana Enterprise and Employment Policy-2020. This project will promote investment in advanced packaging material manufacturing sector and provide employment to 105 youth of Haryana.
Similarly, Mark Exhaust Systems Limited was approved a special incentive package of Rs 39.95 crore under Haryana Enterprise and Employment Policy-2020. The company will set up an auto components manufacturing unit in Jhajjar district, which will further strengthen the auto components manufacturing sector in the state and create employment opportunities for 123 youth of Haryana.
The meeting approved a special incentive package of Rs 35.21 crore to Canpack India under Haryana Enterprise and Employment Policy-2020. The company will expand its aluminum can manufacturing capacity in Mewat district, which will create employment opportunities for the youth of Haryana.
Furthermore, ATL Battery Technology (India) Private Limited was approved for a final extension of one year in the investment deadline for the project approved under IT and ESDM Policy-2017. The company is setting up a lithium-ion cell and battery manufacturing project in Sohna, district Nuh.
The meeting approved a special incentive package of Rs. 89.91 crore to Sabros Limited under the Haryana Enterprise and Employment Policy-2020. The company will set up an auto components manufacturing facility in Kharkhoda, district Sonipat, which will give a boost to the auto and auto components sector in the state and generate employment opportunities for 215 youth of Haryana.
Similarly, Jai Bharat Maruti Limited was approved a special incentive package of Rs. 43.76 crore under the Haryana Enterprise and Employment Policy-2020. This project will promote investment and employment generation in the auto and auto component sector in the state.
In addition, as per the request of Kandhari Beverages Private Limited, a revised special incentive package of Rs. 157.83 crore was approved, amending the special package earlier approved under the Enterprise Promotion Policy-2015.
The meeting was attended by Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Mr. Rajesh Khullar, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Mr. Arun Kumar Gupta, Commissioner and Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, Dr. Amit Kumar Agarwal, Director General, Industries and Commerce Department, Mr. Yash Garg and other senior officers.
