With this policy, a target of Rs five lakh crore investment and 10 lakh new employment opportunities has been set in the state. He said this while addressing a consultation meeting with stakeholders on the provisions of this policy at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Gurugram on Wednesday.

The Industries and Commerce Minister said that Haryana will be a major participating state in Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India by the year 2047. The industry will play a major role in making India self-reliant and developed. The government is very conscious about your interests. In such a situation, you should also produce market-friendly, good and cheap products so that our products do not lag behind in the global competition.
Rao Narbir Singh said that Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini is also committed to promoting industrial development. If the industry moves forward, then the country will also move forward. The government will provide you with all the facilities. In today's meeting, all the suggestions made by the representatives of the industry will be studied and all the necessary suggestions will be included in the new policy.
Basic facilities and good infrastructure will be prepared in all industrial sectors for the convenience of industrialists. Earlier, the minister praised the Haryana government for the facilities and incentives provided by the representatives of the industry in the Make in Haryana Industrial Policy 2025 and also gave his suggestions. The suggestions put forward by the industry were listened to carefully and after discussing with the officials, they were directed to be included in the policy.

Addressing the consultation meeting, Dr. Amit Kumar Agarwal, Commissioner and Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, said that the government will now not be limited to ease of doing business alone, it will also promote concepts like reducing the cost of doing business and Right to Business. He said that this policy will make Haryana the most attractive and competitive investment destination of the country in the coming years.
The new policy is not limited to financial incentives only, but is focused on providing a viable ecosystem to the industries. The government has identified 23 major barriers to doing business and has set a target of removing barriers related to Pollution Control Board, Labour and Urban Planning by December 31. Also, equal opportunities will be given to both Block A and B sectors, so that investments can grow in a balanced manner across the state. Dr. Amit Agarwal said that Haryana's GDP has grown at a rate of about 11% in the last 10 years, which is 3-4% higher than the national average. The state is the top in the country in collecting per capita GST and is the most self-sufficient state, self-financing 80% of its expenditure. He said that the government is going to launch an AI-based portal in the next two months, which will enable simple, transparent and effective use of benefits and services for industries. The new policy includes flexible incentives based on Apex and Capex, sectoral policies for 15-16 sectors and clear packages for ultra mega and mega projects.

Director General of Industries and Commerce Department Dr. Yash Garg said that the new industrial policy Make in Haryana 2025 is not just a formal step but an important dialogue. Dr. Garg said that through Policy 2020 in Haryana, a lot of investment came to the state and there was a remarkable expansion of industries. But in view of the changing times and global conditions, after detailed discussions with the industrial establishments, the new policy has been made more flexible, dynamic and sustainable.
Dr. Garg clarified that the Haryana government does not want to play the role of just a regulator, but wants to work as a supporter and facilitator of the industries. He said that only with the joint efforts of the government and the industries, Haryana can be made the leading state of the country in terms of industry and the products here will be able to establish their identity at the global level.
