The Health Minister was holding a press conference on Next Generation GST Reforms and GST Bachat Utsav in Narnaul today. The Health Minister said that these reforms have come into effect from September 22. The countrymen will save a lot annually by combining the new GST reforms and income tax exemption. She said that with one nation, one tax, the country has become economically stronger.
He said that the previous four GST rates (5 percent, 12 percent, 18 percent and 28 percent) have been reduced to two main rates of 5 percent and 18 percent. The Health Minister said that with this step, almost 99 percent of the items used in daily activities have now come under the GST rate of 5 percent or less. This will save a lot of money for the common people. In addition, the income of Rs 12 lakh has been made tax-free, giving a gift of income relief to the middle class.
The Health Minister appealed to the common citizens to adopt indigenous products. He said that every house is indigenous, every house is indigenous - with this our country will become self-reliant.
Former minister and Narnaul MLA Om Prakash Yadav, Pataudi MLA Bimala Chaudhary, BJP district president Yatendra Rao and DETC Priyanka Yadav, besides other officials, were also present on this occasion.
