He said that Sonalika Industries has already set up more than 650 dealerships in the country, which are providing various types of agricultural equipment to the farmers. Now the company’s target is to reach 1000 dealerships in the future, through which it will further strengthen its presence in rural and semi-urban areas.
Philip Varghese said, “Sonalika is not only focusing on its expansion, but is also working on updating its technology keeping in mind the future needs of Indian agriculture.” He said that the company is trying to provide a complete solution from land preparation to harvesting and post-harvest operations.
Giving information about the future plans, he said that Sonalika is preparing to bring a new product in the crop care segment. He said, "We are working on incorporating agri-drone equipment for precision farming. This is part of the vision to make Indian agriculture more intelligent, effective and at global standards."
