The moderator of this program was Dr. Baljit Kaur, in-charge of Eco Club and Assistant Professor of Public Administration.
Students of different classes of the college participated in this poster making competition. In order to make the students aware of the environment, Dr. Baljit Kaur while addressing the students said that we can save our environment very easily with small steps taken by every person on earth. We should reduce the amount of waste, throw the waste only in its place. The use of poly bags should be stopped, some old items should be reused in new ways. Instead of throwing broken things away, repair and use them, see how long it will take to repair them. Use rechargeable batteries or renewable alkaline batteries, fluorescent light, rainwater harvesting, reduce water wastage, minimum use of electricity, etc.
In this competition, Sanjeev Kumar of BA Part I got first place, Atul Kumar of BA Part I got second again and Prince Preeti of BA Part III got third place. The first, second and third placed students were honored by the principal and encouraged to move forward in the future.
