Arrival of more than 46 thousand metric tons of wheat in the markets of Patiala district

Patiala, April 16 - Wheat is arriving in 93 mandis out of 110 mandis established in Patiala district during the current rubber season, in which 46 thousand 793 metric tons of wheat has arrived till yesterday.

Giving information about this, Deputy Commissioner of the district Shaukat Ahmed Pare said that 34 thousand 995 metric tons of wheat has been purchased from the wheat that arrived in the markets. He said that so far 11220 metric tons of wheat has been purchased from Pangrain, 3853 metric tons from Markfed, 9209 metric tons from Pansap, 4918 metric tons from warehouse and 5795 metric tons from traders.
The Deputy Commissioner said that 8 lakh 95 thousand 975 metric tons of wheat is expected to arrive in the markets of Patiala district during this Hari season. He has appealed to the farmers of the district to bring only dry wheat to the markets.
