"Don't let addiction steal your dreams" - S Chaman Singh

Balachore - Red Cross De-addiction and Rehabilitation Centre, Nawanshahr organized a drug awareness camp at Government Middle School, Village Mangupur Block Balachore under the “Drug Free India Abhiyaan”. Which was chaired by Balwinder Singh Nanowalia Head Master. Speaking on this occasion Mr. Chaman Singh Project Director said that the young generation of Punjab is badly trapped in the gang of drugs.

While the history of Punjab is not like this. The land of Punjab has always given birth to brave warriors, but some people are putting the youth on the path of drugs for their own benefit. He said that the youth should be aware about drugs so that they can avoid incurable diseases. Addiction alienates a person from society and family. The mental level of a drug addict falls to such an extent that he starts committing crimes. You were never meant to live in the hell of drugs. You were built to win.
   On this occasion Mrs. Kamaljit Kaur (Counsellor) informed the people about the facilities and activities of the center. If a youth falls under the grip of this drug, he should be encouraged to enroll in a treatment center. He gave detailed information about the treatment of patients in the center. On this occasion Sohanlal thanked the Red Cross team. School teachers Rimpi Rani, Kuldeep Kumar, Rahul Chaudhary, Amarjeet, Reena Rani, Asha Rani and panchayat member Telu Ram, villagers and students were present on this occasion.
