Una, April 8 - To ensure 100% participation in the Lok Sabha elections and assembly by-elections, voter awareness messages are being given to the people through songs, music and short plays at various places with the cooperation of the district administration. In this series, people were motivated to vote by organizing voter awareness programs at Haroli Bus Stand, ITI Pandoga and Una Gram Panchayat Rampur.
Message given to become a responsible citizen by casting your valuable vote
Under the leadership of Sweep member Kavita Chandel, the artists of Poorvi Kalamanch Jalgran at Bus Stand Haroli and the students at ITI Pandoga gave voter awareness message through songs, music and street plays. They appealed to the people and trainees through street plays and made them aware that the ink on the finger is not just a mark but an identity of democracy. So, on the day of voting, show yourself to be a responsible citizen by casting your valuable vote.
SHGs and village organizations are also motivating people to vote
Self Help Groups (SHGs) and village organizations organized a voter awareness program in Rampur Gram Panchayat of Una on Monday and motivated people to ensure their participation in voting. They gave the message that everyone's participation is necessary and appealed to all the young men and women who have completed 18 years of age to get their votes registered and use their votes correctly.
