Una, 23 March:- In view of the Lok Sabha elections in the district, awareness messages are being given to the voters by motivating the young voters through sweep programs. In this series, awareness was created about the importance of voting by organizing a sweep program at ITI Pobowal on Saturday.
During this, it was told that if any youth who will be 18 years of age or above on April 1, 2024 has not yet got his/her vote done, then he/she should definitely get his/her vote done. Registration in the voter list can be done till May 4.
District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that voter awareness messages are being given by organizing sweep programs through different departments in different areas of the district. Apart from this, emphasis is also being laid on giving awareness message under signature campaign in all the sub-divisions for voter awareness message.
