District Election Officer visited the border areas adjacent to Punjab, examined the arrangements from the election point of view

Una, 22 March:- District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal on Friday visited the border areas of the district adjoining Punjab to effectively implement the Model Code of Conduct in the district during the elections. During this time, Superintendent of Police Una Rakesh Singh also remained with him.

Una, 22 March:- District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal on Friday visited the border areas of the district adjoining Punjab to effectively implement the Model Code of Conduct in the district during the elections. During this time, Superintendent of Police Una Rakesh Singh also remained with him.
He visited Mehatpur, Kalsehra, Ajoli, Bas, Babhore Sahib, Beenwal, Malukpur, Sanoli, Saijowal, Santoshgarh and Bathari and other border areas of the district and inspected the entire system from the election point of view. During this, he also inspected the proposed sites for monitoring the movement of vehicles and setting up checkpoints to keep a close watch on suspicious activities. He instructed all the officers to work with utmost caution and keep a close eye on every activity.
Jatin Lal said that the district administration is working diligently to make arrangements for conducting the elections peacefully. Surveillance teams, flying squads and static surveillance teams have been formed in the district. Arrangements have been made for checking vehicles and monitoring every activity.
Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police Rakesh Singh said that the police is keeping a close watch on suspicious activities and anti-social elements. In view of the elections, law and order has been completely tightened in the district.
