
District level youth parliament program was organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra
Hoshiarpur - Nehru Yuva Kendra Hoshiarpur organized District Level Youth Parliament with the support of Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College Educational Trust Dasuha. Tehsildar Dasuha Shri Manveer Singh Dhillon participated as the chief guest in this youth parliament. He said that Nehru Yuva Kendra is a working organization for youth which is giving proper guidance to youth power. This program was presided over by Mr. Deep Gagan Singh, he said that Nehru Yuva Kendra conducts such programs from time to time so that the youth can get proper guidance.

Expressing her views, Prof. Sandeep Kaur Boski said that Vocal for Local is the mission of the country, we have to become self-reliant in production, self-sufficiency and supply of goods and consume domestically produced goods ourselves. This is the last step towards leveraging domestic manufacturing capabilities and understanding the impact of this clarification period on various sectors of the economy. On this occasion, Rakesh Kumar, District Youth Officer of Nehru Yuva Kendra, gave detailed information about the ongoing activities of Nehru Yuva Kendra. On this occasion, Principal Varinder Kaur told the youth that the youth population of any country is the valuable strength of that country and the nation is waiting for it. Youths need to understand their importance and play a leading role in development. He said that youths are not useless and every youth has hidden talent based on which he has the ability to shine the name of the country and society. . After this, Prof. Rupinder Kaur Gill said that today's era is an era in which women have been given many rights in the constitution. Today women contribute to the development of this developing India, but still they are often harassed in various forms and their rights are violated. On this occasion, Jitinder Kumar and Sikandar Singh made the youth aware to stay away from drugs. He appreciated the program of Nehru Yuva Kendra. In the end Gagan Rana, office bearer of Shivi Shivaye Welfare Society thanked everyone. On this occasion, a street play was presented by the team of Ashok Puri Bahu Rang Kala Manch to create awareness among the voters, under which they inspired the youth to vote as much as possible in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. On this occasion, a mock parliament was presented by the students of the college, in which a very effective presentation was given debating for and against the bill on the topic of New Education Policy 2020. In which Gaurav stood first, Simranjit Singh Walia stood second and Radhika Sharma stood third. After this, a quiz about Parliament was conducted by the students, in which prizes were awarded to all the winners. Refreshments were also arranged for all the contestants. Dr. Ramnik Kaur, Pradeep Singh, Rajkumar, Shahid etc., besides a large number of young people were present on this occasion.
