Cabinet Minister Jimpa flagged off the bus from Hoshiarpur under the 'Chief Minister's Pilgrimage Scheme'

Hoshiarpur - Under the 'Chief Minister's Pilgrimage Scheme' launched by the Punjab government headed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Cabinet Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpa today visited Sheran Wala Chowk, Krishna Nagar Hoshiarpur to Mata Chintapurni, Mata Jawala Devi, Mata Naina Devi and flagged off the bus going to visit Sri Anandpur Sahib.

Hoshiarpur - Under the 'Chief Minister's Pilgrimage Scheme' launched by the Punjab government headed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Cabinet Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpa today visited Sheran Wala Chowk, Krishna Nagar Hoshiarpur to Mata Chintapurni, Mata Jawala Devi, Mata Naina Devi and flagged off the bus going to visit Sri Anandpur Sahib.
On the occasion of sending off a bus of pilgrims from Hoshiarpur for the darshan of Mata Chintapurni, Mata Jawala Devi, Mata Naina Devi and Sri Anandpur Sahib, Cabinet Minister Jimpa said that with the initiation of this scheme, the people of Punjab will be able to visit various shrines across the country. Sightseeing tours are provided free of charge. He said that under this scheme, the expenses of the passengers going on the journey will be borne by the Punjab government, which includes all the expenses of their travel, stay and food. He said that Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann has taken care of every small and big need of the common people of the state. The Cabinet Minister said that under this scheme, people are being made to travel to various places of pilgrimage. He said that similarly according to the plan, buses of pilgrims will continue to depart continuously for darshan of various pilgrimage places. Congratulating the pilgrims, he said that the Chief Minister's Pilgrimage Scheme is proving to be a boon for those who are deprived of visiting important religious places of Punjab and India due to old age and financial constraints. He said that a budget of Rs 40 crore has been kept for this special scheme of the state government during the financial year 2023-24. Mayor Surinder Kumar, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini, Deputy Mayor Ranjit Chaudhary, Assistant Commissioner Sandeep Tiwari, Dheeraj Sharma and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
