Patiala, March 1 - Last night in Harinder Nagar area, assailants attacked money exchanger Jasdeep Singh and took away his scooter, which contained around 11 lakh rupees in cash. Based on the statements of Jasdeep Singh, who was injured in the attack, the Tripadi police have registered a case against two unidentified persons.
Jasdeep Singh has a money exchange shop in Leela Bhavan. From here he was returning to his home with cash of around 11 lakh rupees in the scooty. Two men riding a bike hit him on the head near the house. The assailants fled with his scooter. According to SHO Gurpreet Singh of Tripari police station, an FIR has been registered. The police will also examine the footage of the CCTV cameras installed around the incident site to identify the assailants who carried out the incident.
