Hoshiarpur - District Vaccination Officer Dr Seema Garg conducted supportive supervision at Urban Civil Dispensary Bahadurpur on the occasion of Mamata Divas today. Vaccination assistant Navpreet Kaur was also present with him on this occasion.
Dr. Seema Garg first checked the vaccine storage and temperature log book, which was found to be correct. They saw the immunization cards of the pregnant women and children present on the occasion and reviewed the vaccination. He interacted with the mothers of newborns present there and told that these vaccines protect children from 11 deadly diseases. So make sure to get your child fully vaccinated on time and don't leave it in the middle. He said that the administered vaccines are being uploaded by ANM as well as on U-Win App So that there is no trouble in the future And time can be saved. He said that the biggest advantage of uploading on the U-Win app is that the child can be vaccinated anywhere in the country.
They also shared a lot of information about the importance of breast milk to mothers, about the essential use of IFA for lactating mothers and pregnant women, about home-based care for newborns and children up to 5 years of age.
Apart from this, information was also given about the benefits of the JSY scheme after delivery and the methods of family planning used to prevent differences between children.
