Patiala, December 14 - As per the orders of the Punjab Government, Mrs. Harpreet Kaur assumed the post as the Director of Language Department, Punjab in the presence of the officials and employees of the department. On this occasion, he said that he is very grateful to Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann, Minister of Higher Education and Languages Harjot Singh Bains and Secretary Higher Education and Languages Kamal Kishore Yadav who have entrusted the responsibility of Director Language Department, Punjab to serve the Punjabi mother tongue. handed over He said that he will put his full effort in fulfilling the responsibility assigned by the Punjab government with full diligence and responsibility.
He further said that he will do his best to implement the policies and plans of the Punjab government to promote the Punjabi language even more vigorously. He also promised that the literature/writers who are serving the Punjabi mother tongue will be given due respect and honor by the department.
On this occasion, Punjab Deputy Director Satnam Singh, Assistant Director Alok Chawla, Amarinder Singh, Tejinder Singh Gill and a large number of employees of the department were present on this occasion.
