Mr. Dattatreya said this to the Vice-Chancellors, Registrars and Faculty members of all the universities of the state present in the seminar organized on the theme "Developed India 2047" at Haryana Raj Bhavan, Chandigarh today.
Meanwhile, Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Mr. Gyan Chand Gupta and Chief Secretary Mr. Sanjeev Kaul were present in the workshop.
He said that the goal of making India a developed nation and a new India by the year 2047 is an important objective, which reflects the collective aspirations of the country's citizens and leadership. It envisages a future where the nation overcomes its present challenges and achieves comprehensive socio-economic progress.
The Governor asked all the VCs to form a "Vision 2047 cell" in their universities, which would be specially dedicated to today's very important workshop. Enter the QR code on the authorized website of your university for direct access to the Devant Bharat portal. We also need to encourage the future students of the nation to share their ideas for a developed India. For this, a social media campaign should be started for them to actively participate in making India a developed nation by 2047. Mr. Bandaru Dattatreya said that everyone should ensure a ten minute time for brainstorming on developed India at the beginning of the day in their college. I am confident that you will create a dedicated room to collect feedback from students, who will give feedback from 11th December to 25th December. Let us quickly plan a roadmap for Devant Bharat Utsav by engaging the students in discussion and dialogue and encourage the youth from ACC Cadets, NASS Sway Sevak and other organizations to participate in Dev Dev Bharat Utsav.
He said that all the universities and colleges of the state have not only become a center of excellence in terms of education, but have also become a strong facilitator of the inclusive development process of the country.
By which the fulfillment of the target by the year 2047 can be ensured. The Vice-Chancellors of all universities should ensure that emails are sent to the students clearly stating the purpose of their ideas for the "Developed India 2047" campaign and encouraging them to give their valuable suggestions on the same.
The Governor said that a draft email is being shared with the Vice Chancellors. It will contain web page link and QR code. Vice-Chancellors will be sent to the email address of the students available in the records of these universities. Encourage the students to click on the links and give their views on the various topics given on the portal. Common hashtag i.e. Ideas for Developed India should be liberally used by all the Vice Chancellors. Also, NITI Aayog will post the infographic on its social media handles. These will contain an embedded link to the web page and QR code to provide feedback. Our universities and colleges should re-tweet and re-share these posts.
He said that our new National Education Policy is very similar to the vision of "Developed India 2047". Skill development and entrepreneurship ecosystem are two important pillars of the new National Education Policy, which will go a long way in realizing the goal of a developed India by 2047. We have the examples of Japan, Germany, Singapore and South Korea, which rose despite enormous obstacles and brought their own decisive modes to become economic giants.
On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellors, Registrars and Professors of various universities discussed topics such as sustainability and security, science and technology, strengthening the economy, empowerment, India's position in the world, engaging with the youth to contribute ideas, etc. -Discussed and brainstormed and made suggestions to create a developed portfolio.
