Mohali - Satinder Bhajoli, Political Secretary, Press Secretary to Ex MLA and District Youth President Janhit Mission BKU Punjab has expressed concern over the proposal of Govt of India to abolish the Senate of Punjab University Chandigarh. He urged Home Minister Union to immediately stop this evil conspiracy against the spirit of Punjab Reorganization Act 1966.
He said that this is a violation of the above Act and another grave injustice to the State of Punjab and all Punjabis. He said that our demand is that the heritage structure of the University should be maintained as it is at any cost. I have appealed to the Chief Minister of Punjab to clarify whether he has given his consent to the Union Home Ministry or not and also questioned his silence on this issue.
