This special program was organized at the magnificent park which has been prepared by the entire team under the leadership of Green Front Welfare Society president and environmentalist Amrik Singh Bhullar.
On this occasion, while talking to these children, D.C. Sakshi Sahni said that the district administration is committed to the welfare of the children living in the slum area. He said that the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Maan is providing world-class facilities in government schools to make the children a peer of time. Motivating the children to set goals in their lives and work hard to reach that goal, he said that not only the children but also their parents will be helped in every possible way by the district administration. On this occasion, he honored the female students studying B.Tech and Nursing from Sri Guru Nanak Dev Salam Society and went to their homes and congratulated their parents for this achievement.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni urged people to celebrate a pollution-free Green Diwali, spent a lot of time with the slum children and interacted with them and distributed school bags, pens, copies and pencils as Diwali gifts to them for a bright future. wished for
On this occasion, the president of the organization, Bhan Singh Jassi, while giving information about Sri Guru Nanak Dev Salam Society, said that this organization is providing education to children in slum areas in many districts of Punjab. He said that a large number of children have progressed after studying in the school which has been running since 2009 at Tafjalpura and even now around 150 children are getting education here.
On this occasion, the organization gave special honor to the personalities who cooperated for the event and worked for the welfare of the slum children, including Amrik Singh Bhullar, Baby Sharma, Meenakshi, Sonia, Sukhwinder Singh, Avtar Singh Shergill, Gurpreet Singh, Amaninder Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Karamjit Singh, Pritpal Singh Sidhu, Archana Mahajan and Dr. Kulwant Kaur was involved.
