Patiala- Hearty congratulations to the Deputy Commissioner and District Commander Punjab Home Guard Civil Defence Patiala for organizing mock drills in the district for the success of Operation Sandhur and Operation Shield started by the Ministry of Home Affairs and Defence, Government of India, making common people and students members of civil defence and preparing volunteers to save victims and properties in future.
This view was expressed by Disaster Management, Civil Defence First Aid, Fire Safety Instructor of Government of India, Mr. Kaka Ram Verma while giving information about first aid, CPR, fire safety and self-defence during war under Operation Shield, which will save precious lives and property during natural and human disasters, wars and accidents in future.
Principal Mrs. Vijay Kapoor thanked the students and teachers and said that we should organize programmes to make students aware about Operation Sandhur and Operation Shield.
Kaka Ram Verma Chief Instructor First Aid Safety Health Awareness Mission students must take training in disaster management, civil defence, first aid, fire safety, home nursing to protect themselves and help the victims in future challenges, wars, epidemics, disasters and crises.
