Hoshiarpur Paigam-E-Jagat Garhshankar, June 5- On the auspicious occasion of World Environment Day, an inspiring step was taken to preserve the environment in the premises of Maheshyana Mandir located in Garhshankar. During this event, a befitting effort was made towards a green future by planting shade trees.
On this occasion, Charanjit Singh Channi OSD Deputy Speaker and social worker Kirpal Ram, Harpreet Singh, Sumit Soni, Salu Sarabjit Kaur, Jagtar Singh Tari, Gaurav, Murad Ali, Sami, Harvinder Singh Saini, Joginder Singh and Kulwinder Nair participated in large numbers and showed their commitment to environmental conservation.
He said that environmental protection is not just a one-day responsibility, but it should be an integral part of our daily lifestyle. Planting saplings is not just about planting trees, but like giving birth to a new life.
Through such initiatives, environmental awareness is being increased in the society and steps are being taken towards creating a clean, green Punjab for the next generation.
