Hoshiarpur,/Garhshankar 2 June- Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly and active and popular MLA of Garhshankar constituency Jai Krishna Singh Raudi has taken another important step towards the development of villages and providing environment friendly energy system.
The process of handing over solar systems to the villages of the constituency was implemented, which will not only fulfill the needs of the villages but will also promote the development of villages with modern technology.
These solar systems were given to Chahalpur, Chandsu Jatta, Dadiyal, Mazara Dingriya, Monowal, Raipur Gujra, Samundra Khas, Satnaur, Wahidpur and Paddi Khuti villages.
A function was organized on this occasion, where the villagers and panchayat representatives expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Deputy Speaker Raudi. He said that these efforts are not only providing modern infrastructure to the general public of the villages, but are also promoting the movement of saving electricity and protecting the environment.
Deputy Speaker Rori said on this occasion that it is imperative to use innovative and clean energy systems like solar energy for the safety of our future generations. This solar project is not just an alternative to electricity, but is part of the plan to make villages self-reliant.
These systems will be available for use in gram panchayats, public places and social services. He also informed that this campaign is one of the continuous initiatives being taken for sustainable development in the Garhshankar constituency. Many more development works will be started in the coming time, which will directly improve the standard of living of the people.
The sarpanches of the villages expressed special gratitude to Deputy Speaker Rori and said that such initiatives are a ray of hope for our general public. Deputy Speaker Rori always gives priority to the needs of the constituency. We are deeply grateful to him. After this, Deputy Speaker Rori said that this is just the beginning.
