Special effort made by the staff and students of Khalsa College Dumeli

Hoshiarpur- The National Service Scheme and Red Ribbon Club of Sant Baba Dalip Singh Memorial Khalsa College Dumeli, an educational institution running under the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, made the farmers of village Rampur Sundara aware by going door to door about the purpose of not burning the straw to make the environment pollution-free and maintain the fertility of the soil and listened to the problems faced by the farmers.

On this occasion, the in-charge of the Red Ribbon Club, Prof. Amarpal Kaur, gave information about the damage caused by burning the straw and the many diseases that arise. College Principal Dr. Gurnam Singh Rasoolpur Ji said that the environment is not only polluted by burning the straw, but also many types of insects die. 
On this occasion, College Principal Dr. Gurnam Singh Rasoolpur, Red Ribbon Club in-charge Madam Amarpal Kaur, college students and farmers of the village were present.
