Chandigarh, May 19 – The committee formed by Sri Akal Takht Sahib for recruitment in the Shiromani Akali Dal has launched an online recruitment campaign to connect Punjabis living abroad and in other states with the party. The recruitment process will be completed by June 18.
Recruitment Committee members Manpreet Ayali, Jathedar Gurpartap Singh Wadala, Jathedar Iqbal Singh Jhundan, Jathedar Santa Singh Umaidpuri and Bibi Satwant Kaur, while talking to reporters at the Chandigarh Press Club here today, have launched an online portal www.akalidalbharti.com for this purpose.
They said that people living abroad will also be able to join the party through this portal. Along with this, the recruitment committee also invited the Panthic AK. It is worth noting that the committee formed by Akal Takht initially had seven members, but later two members resigned from it.
