Kaithal, May 19- The bodies of two youths were found near a drain near Dhanauri village this morning. The deceased have been identified as Armaan (16) and Prince (14). Both are residents of Bareta village and were missing since 5:30 pm on Sunday. The villagers saw the bodies of both the youths lying in a drain near Dhanauri village this morning and informed the police.
After preliminary investigation, the police said that both the youths were attacked on the neck with a sharp weapon, which led to their death. The bodies have been sent to the civil hospital for postmortem.
The police are collecting more information from the family members of the victims. The reasons behind the incident have not been revealed yet, nor have the accused been identified. There is an atmosphere of terror in the village due to the double murder. Sadar Police Station Superintendent Mukesh Kumar said that the police is seriously investigating the case from every angle. He said that efforts are on to identify the murderers and arrest them. Kaithal DSP Virbhan, who reached the spot with the investigation team, said that he has received information about the double murder. Both the boys were missing since 5:30 pm on Sunday. The bodies of both the children were found near the canal this morning. He said that there are injury marks on their heads. One boy was a student of class 10 and the other was a student of class 11. He said that the police is investigating from all angles and soon the accused will be behind bars.
