According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, today the temperature of Chandigarh was recorded at 38.4 degrees Celsius, Amritsar at 42.1 degrees Celsius, Ludhiana at 42.2 degrees Celsius, Patiala at 40 degrees Celsius, Pathankot at 39.5 degrees Celsius, Bathinda city at 44 degrees Celsius, Faridkot at 43.5 degrees Celsius, Gurdaspur at 42 degrees Celsius, Nawanshahr at 39.9 degrees Celsius, Ferozepur at 41.6 degrees Celsius, Hoshiarpur at 39 degrees Celsius, Jalandhar at 41.1 degrees Celsius, Moga at 41.9 degrees Celsius, Mohali at 37.4 degrees Celsius, Ropar at 37.5 degrees Celsius. This has been recorded 2 to 3 degrees Celsius higher than normal.
