Kharar, May 6- Residents of Swaraj Enclave (Ward No. 16) located on Kharar Landra Road have been without drinking water for the past three days. The lack of water supply is causing the most difficulty for schoolchildren, the elderly, and employees going to work.
Local residents Inderjeet Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Nagender Singh, Ram Ji Das, and Kailash Chand stated that over the past few days, they have brought this issue to the attention of Ward 16 MC Smt. Anju and the Kharar Committee. The committee sent its employees to investigate the water supply issue, and they have submitted their report to senior officials.
The residents said that AME Suresh Kumar has assured that the water supply will be fixed soon, and considering the residents’ problems, the ward’s MC has been sending water tankers. Ward MC Smt. Anju stated that within a day or two, a 60-70 foot pipe section will be installed, which will resolve the issue for these households. The residents demanded that the supply of drinking water be ensured.
