Giving information in this regard, Democratic Teachers Front Punjab State Joint Mukesh Kumar, Sukhdev Dancewal said that the previous Captain government had issued a notification on July 17, 2020 and decided to implement the Seventh Pay Commission of the Center instead of Punjab Pay Commission on all the employees recruited after this date.
But the present government is also making recruitments under this notification, in protest against which Punjab Pay Scale Restoration United Front had called for a protest day in the entire Punjab, under which D.T.F. workers also expressed their solidarity with this demand by wearing black badges.
At this time various leaders Vinay Kumar, Jarnail Singh Ashni Kumar, Baljeet Singh Narinder Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Diwan Chand etc also participated in the action and made the teachers aware.
