Nawanshahr 16th April- The tribute ceremony of world famous painter Sarup Singh (UK), born in village Manguwal (Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar), known as the magician of colours, is being organized by 'Pravaj Punjab' organization with the cooperation of Manguwal residents, on 18th April from 10 am to 12 noon at Gurdwara Bada Darwaza.

On this occasion, famous poet Darshan Singh Khatkar will give information about him. Famous story writer Ajmer Sidhu Sarup Singh will throw light on his creative world. Darbara Singh Khatkar will share memories related to him. Giving this information, 'Pravaj Punjab' leader Jasbir Deep said that Sarup Singh died on 9th March in Leicester.
There is a museum gallery of paintings made by Sarup Singh in Derby (UK), where paintings related to Sikh history, Punjabi culture and other works made by him are displayed. These paintings include pictures of famous Punjabi writers and world-renowned personalities.
