Chandigarh, April 10- Punjab BJP Vice President Fateh Jang Singh Bajwa has strongly condemned the incident of the Sarpanch of village Kot Mohammad Khan of Khadoor Sahib Assembly constituency killing the Additional SHO of Police Station Goindwal Sahib, Sub Inspector Charanjit Singh. In this case, Sarpanch Kuldeep Singh snatched the revolver of the Sub Inspector and killed him. In this incident, ASI Jasbir Singh's arm has been broken. The special thing is that this entire incident took place in front of the eyes of local DSP Atul Soni and SHO Prabhjit Singh Gill.
In a statement issued here, Bajwa said that more than a dozen grenade attacks have taken place on police stations and posts in Punjab in the last about 3 months. Foreign terrorist organizations have been blamed for these attacks. But now, with the support of the AAP government, the morale of the criminals has increased so much that they have started targeting police personnel openly. This shows that the Aam Aadmi Party government has failed to rein in criminals.
The Punjab BJP Vice President said that even the common man has now started thinking that there is no rule of law in Punjab. Grenade attacks are being carried out on police stations, posts and houses of leaders while Aam Aadmi Party's Sarpanchs are killing police officers. He demanded that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who has failed to handle the deteriorating law and order situation, should resign immediately, or the central government should intervene in this because Punjab is very sensitive due to its proximity to Pakistan's border.
The senior BJP leader said that the murder of the sub-inspector by AAP Sarpanch Kuldeep Singh is not a normal matter, but a very serious matter related to the police force. Drunk on power, the Aam Aadmi Party Sarpanch openly shoots and kills the Additional SHO, but the government turns a blind eye to it. Bajwa demanded immediate arrest of the AAP Sarpanch and exemplary punishment for him, saying that if the government did not take strict action, the morale of the police would fall.
