Hoshiarpur- Sachdeva Stocks Hoshiarpur Cyclothon Season-7 organized by Fit Biker Club Hoshiarpur was successfully completed in which about 400 cyclists from all over the country participated and during this, the general public was made aware of the campaign launched by the Punjab government against drugs.
This cyclothon started at 7 am from the head office of Sachdeva Stocks, Bulawadi, where special guests Lok Sabha member Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal, Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain and SSP Sandeep Kumar Malik, who arrived under the leadership of the club president, flagged off the cyclists by showing the green flag. Earlier, a special program was also presented by the special children of JSS Asha Kiran Special School Jahankhela.
On this occasion, Member of Parliament Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal said that there is no greater joy than fitness and cycling helps you stay fit, he said that this cyclothon being organized by the Fit Biker Club cannot be praised enough. During this, the cyclists covered a distance of 100 kilometers from Hoshiarpur to Tanda-Chowlang and then back to Hoshiarpur and traffic arrangements and security arrangements were made by the district administration throughout the route.
On this occasion, a check of Rs 1 lakh 40 thousand was handed over to the committee of Asha Kiran School by the members of the Fit Biker Club under the leadership of President Paramjit Sachdeva. Paramjit Sachdeva said that children as young as 7 years old and senior citizens up to 70 years old have participated in this cyclothon and the club members have worked hard for its success.
At this time, Uttam Singh Sabi, Munir Nazar, Sanjeev Sohal, Ukanar Singh Chabbewal, Amrinder Saini, Gurvinder Singh, Tarlochan Singh, Gurmail Singh, Ukanar Singh, Rohit Bassi, Saurav Sharma, Daulat Singh, Sagar Saini etc. were also present.
