Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 18 April 2025: Mrs. Komal Mittal, Deputy Commissioner, SAS Nagar has appealed to the farmers of the district to submit applications for subsidy and purchase of machinery for management of paddy straw during Kharif 2025 (Agri Machinery PB.com website).
She informed that the government has sought online applications from 22.04.2025 to 12.05.2025 (5.00 PM) for 50 percent subsidy to individual farmers and 80 percent subsidy to farmer groups, panchayats and cooperatives for super seeder, baler, rake, crop reaper, reversible plow etc.
Apart from this, she also informed about seeking applications from farmers for setting up custom hiring centers and paddy supply chain centers. He asked the farmers to contact the department's site or the office of the Chief Agriculture Officer of their district for more details about the scheme.
