Welfare of the poor and needy is the top priority of the government - Deputy Chief Minister

Una, March 15- Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri on Saturday distributed cheques of assistance amount of about Rs 10 lakh to 60 beneficiaries of Haroli assembly constituency. While handing over these cheques to the beneficiaries in a simple ceremony at Ghaluwal, he reiterated the commitment of the state government to uplift the poor, needy and deprived sections.

While handing over these cheques to the beneficiaries in a simple ceremony at Ghaluwal, he reiterated the commitment of the state government to uplift the poor, needy and deprived sections.
On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the Congress government is determined for social justice and inclusive development. He said that the welfare of the poor and needy is our top priority. We are constantly trying to bring the light of development to the last person of the society and this assistance amount has been distributed under this resolution.
While interacting with the beneficiaries, he motivated them to take maximum advantage of various schemes run by the state government and said that the government is continuously working for the overall development of every section.
On this occasion, senior Congress leader Ranjeet Rana, SDM Vishal Sharma and other dignitaries and administrative officers were present.
Haroli moving on the path of sustainable development
It is noteworthy that under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, the pace of development and public welfare is continuously moving forward in Haroli Assembly constituency. Special attention has been given to the development of infrastructure along with providing assistance to the economically weaker sections in the area. Many important works of road, education, health and industrial expansion have been done.
Effective schemes have been successfully implemented to strengthen water supply, irrigation projects and rural infrastructure. Apart from this, continuous efforts are being made to develop Haroli as an industrial and economic hub. Many welfare schemes are being run to empower the poor, farmers and small businessmen, so that holistic and inclusive development can be encouraged.
