Nawanshahr 25th February- Hon'ble Dr. Amandeep (PCS, Civil Judge (Sr. Div)/CJM cum Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, SBS Nagar) and Simran Chalana (TJO, SBS Nagar), Tarandeep Kaur (TJO, SBS Nagar) visited Red Cross Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Drug Victims, Nawanshahr. They inspected the centre on various aspects and appreciated the functioning of the centre.
Suggestions were given to run this centre more smoothly. They talked to the admitted patients and asked about the facilities being provided to them and the patients responded very well. Satisfactory answers were given. Staff of the centre were present on the occasion. Overall they appreciated the social service work being done by the centre.
On this occasion, Project Director Mr. Chaman Singh explained in detail about the scheme being run by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India that any drug addict can get free treatment by joining the center for one month.
On this occasion, Medical Officer Mr. Hardev Singh, Deepak, Dinesh Kumar, Praveen Kumari, Kamaljit Kaur, Jaswinder Kaur, Manjit Singh, Kamala Rani, Jaswinder Kaur Cook, Manjot and patients were present.
