
Dispute over Dahaja inside the boundary of Gurughar in Shri Khuralgarh
Garhshanker/Khuralgarh Sahib/12 November:- A dispute has arisen between the Gurughar Prabandhak Committee Shri Khuralgarh Sahib and Baba Siddh Chano Committee over organizing Baba Siddh Chano's Dahaja within the boundary of Gurughar on 16 November. Tap Asthan Shri Khuralgarh Sahib Gurughar Committee says that Baba Siddh Chano's temple is on the other side of the Gurughar, so Dahaja (Saal) should be organized at the same place.
Garhshanker/Khuralgarh Sahib/12 November:- A dispute has arisen between the Gurughar Prabandhak Committee Shri Khuralgarh Sahib and Baba Siddh Chano Committee over organizing Baba Siddh Chano's Dahaja within the boundary of Gurughar on 16 November. While Baba Siddh Chano Committee says that they will take the entire decision in consultation with the village, they also said that they will not let the atmosphere get spoiled at any cost. In this regard, a joint meeting of Gurughar Prabandhak Committee Shri Khuralgarh Sahib, Shri Guru Ravidas Sabhas, Dr. BR Ambedkar Sabhas and Nihang Singh organizations was held on Sunday.
After which Baba Kewal Singh Pradhan and Baba Lakhvir Singh Pramukh Tarana Dal Misl Shahida held a formal press conference and said that the dignity of the Guru's house is hurt by the obscene dance, obscene jokes and obscene language in the courtyard of Baba Sindh Chano. Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is lit in the Guru's house. The words of Sri Guru Granth Sahib are recited in the morning and evening.
While the temple of Baba Siddh Chano is built at some distance from the temple, the Siddh Chano Committee deliberately wants to desecrate the Guru's house. On the other hand, Baba Siddh Chano Committee President Bansi Lal and Sarpanch Ranjit Singh say that they will take the entire decision in consultation with the village, and also said that the atmosphere of the village will not be allowed to be spoiled. Baba Kewal Singh said that he has given written information in this regard to the police and civil administration including the MLA of the area and he has assured full cooperation.
On this occasion, Baba Kewal Singh, President of the Gurughar Committee, Makhan Singh, Baba Naresh Singh, Baba Sukhdev Singh, Surinder Singh, Chaudhary Jeet Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Baljit Singh, Baba Lakhveer Singh, Head Jathedar of Tarana Dal Misal Shaheed Prabhjot Singh and Kulwant Singh were present.
