
Traffic Police organised seminar on National Road Safety Month
SAS Nagar 14 January 2024: As per the orders of Senior Superintendent of Police Deepak Pareek, SP Traffic H.S. Mann, DSP Traffic Karnail Singh, Traffic Education Cell Incharge ASI Janak Raj and Lady Constable Khushpreet Kaur along with Kuljit Katoch AI Incharge Mantri Car Session, Punjab PB01 organised a seminar on National Road Safety Month for the people who came to get their vehicles passed and at Senior Secondary Residential School for Meritorious Students SAS Nagar.

Mann, DSP Traffic Karnail Singh, Traffic Education Cell Incharge ASI Janak Raj and Lady Constable Khushpreet Kaur along with Kuljit Katoch AI Incharge Mantri Car Session, Punjab PB01 organised a seminar on National Road Safety Month for the people who came to get their vehicles passed and at Senior Secondary Residential School for Meritorious Students SAS Nagar.
On this occasion, reflective tape was installed keeping in mind the foggy days, in which information was given about not driving under the influence of alcohol and traffic rules, children below 18 years of age should not drive, taking compensation from the cell fund in case of an accident with an unknown vehicle, lane driving, not using pressure horns and environmental protection.
Appeals were made to install high security number plates on vehicles, wear helmets on two-wheelers, park vehicles properly instead of parking them on the road, use indicators while turning left or right, not to violate red lights, not to drive under the influence of any intoxicant, not to burst crackers on Bullet motorcycles and not to modify them.
Apart from this, it was also said to strictly follow all traffic rules so that road accidents can be reduced. Information was given to call helpline numbers 112 and 181 for seeking and giving assistance from the police, as well as to call 1930 for cyber crime.
