Nawanshahr's historic Baradari Garden will be renovated - Malvinder Singh Kang

Nawanshahr - Nawanshahr's heritage site Baradari Bagh will be renovated. This was said today by Lok Sabha member Malvinder Singh Kang while laying the foundation stone for the renovation of the library in the garden. He said that this library will be equipped with Wi-Fi, new furniture and modern facilities. He said that this historic garden, which has a history of about 200 years, will be given a new look.

He said that this library will be equipped with Wi-Fi, new furniture and modern facilities. He said that this historic garden, which has a history of about 200 years, will be given a new look.
He said that money is being spent from the MP fund for this work. He said that whatever amount is required to improve the look of the garden will be made available. He said that under this, the buildings, parks, promenades, fountains, children's swings etc. located in the garden will be given a new look. Similarly, the garden will be made more beautiful and green. He said that this Baradari Bagh, which is a witness to the reign of Sikh Misls and Maharaja Ranjit Singh, has a rich history and it will be preserved as the heritage of the city.
He said that this beautiful place spread over about five acres in the middle of the city is a great place for people as well as elderly and women to sit and take a walk in the morning and evening, which increases their engagement. It is also a suitable place for children to play. He said that no stone will be left unturned in the continuous maintenance of this heritage site of the city and to develop it as a tourist center. 
He said that this work is going to be done on the initiative of Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Dhiman.
